PARA ENDURANCE RACE 2019
6-8 september Karlsborg Sweden

24HOURS. 100 TEAMS OF TWO. AT LEAST 70 KM. 40KG COMMON EQUIPMENT.

Para Endurance Race is based on the legendary Eagle March, Örnmarschen. One of the required tests to become a Swedish Para Ranger. You now have the opportunity to show what you are made of. This is a race designed for civilians who want to push their limits under more or less controlled circumstances – the event does not include jumping from aircrafts or live fire shooting.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL VITALITY

The race is performed in teams of two. You’re about to march at least 70 km in terrain, with backpack and solve tasks during the route. Both of you must finish. There is only one class – it’s the same rules for everyone. Everyone must march the same distance, with the same weight in their backpacks. No exceptions.

Race briefing on Friday September the 6th in the Airborne Camp, Karlsborg.

TRUE GRIT

To have the chance to grab a ticket head over to the pre-registration and write a motivation, why you and your team-mate should race and why you will succeed. We will evaluate every team by their motivation and remember you’ll need wit and grit to cross the finishing line.  All contestant must be 18 years of age and healthy at the pre-registration.

We encourage younger contestants to test your abilities, to experience how one day as Para Ranger in the Swedish Armed Forces could look like. Pre-registration is free.

Entry Fee: 1.590 SEK/person, 159 €/person, all meals from friday evening to sunday lunch are included. The fee must be paid within five days from the date you have been accepted. All information regarding the race will be sent by email once you’re in.

Accommodation Friday to Saturday is easiest solved by bringing your own tent to the Airborne Camp in Karlsborg. More options are found in the Karlsborg village.  Transportation to Karlsborg by your own means.
